Peter Gregson is one of the few artists who successfully bridge concert classical music with a wider audience. His music has been released by the prestigious labels Deutsche Grammophon and Decca Records, and he has collaborated with artists such as Max Richter, Jóhann Jóhannsson, and Hildur Guðnadóttir. He has also left a unique mark as a composer of music for film and television. His compositions have featured in the popular Netflix series Bridgerton, where his signature blend of strings, modern production, and cinematic sensibility resonated with millions of viewers worldwide.
At Cellofest Ljubljana, Gregson will perform a solo concert, presenting a selection of his original works and demonstrating why he is considered one of the most prominent masters of the contemporary cello. Through the use of acoustic cello, electronics, and sonic layers, he creates an intimate, hypnotic concert experience that connects fans of classical music, cinematic soundscapes, and contemporary experimental approaches.
