In the next edition of our Comic Dialogues, local comics creators Gašper Krajnc and Peter Kuntarič will reveal which authors, comics, and aesthetics have shaped their visual and narrative styles, and which still excite and inspire them in their drawing ventures today.
Gašper Krajnc (1985) is a comics artist and illustrator who says he only began drawing seriously relatively late. He is best known for his “bird” trilogy (City Birds, Village Birds, Winter Birds), published by VigeVageKnjige, which has established him as one of the most prominent Slovenian comics authors of recent years.
Peter Kuntarič – Kunta (1993) is a comics artist, illustrator, and designer who has been drawing since childhood. He publishes comics and caricatures in magazines such as Kralji ulice, Outsider, and Megafon, and also draws live at conferences, lectures, in the theatre, and on the air at Radio Študent.
