Attention: American ragebeasts Kublai Khan TX are coming to Kino Šiška, and we’ve been politely informed our beloved building may not survive the evening in its current emotional state.

FOR FANS OF: Hatebreed, Lamb of God, Knocked Loose …

Boasting the power of a thousand monster trucks, Kublai Khan TX have built a career on turning very simple ideas into catastrophically heavy outcomes. Sounding like no-holds-barred brawl between early 1990s metallic hardcore and modern deathcore aggression, their riffs stomp like a herd of bull elephants fighting off a sharknado, their breakdowns arrive like a sledgehammer launched by the sun, and their vocals sound less like singing and more like a motivational speech delivered by someone kicking down a door.

Lyrically, the band likewise aim straight for the jugular. Racism, police brutality, religion, depression, anxiety, social injustice, personal responsibility – nothing gets a polite pass. Kublai Khan TX write soundtracks for staring at your own reflection and deciding whether to improve yourself or throw the mirror out of the window. Somehow, they make both options feel valid.

Countless hordes of listeners have found themselves in this directness. The band have become one of the biggest names in heavy, in-your-face music today, racking up millions of streams, crossing paths with heavyweights such as Terror and Despised Icon, and building up a reputation as a savage live act whose brutal mosh pits incite communal release and wave after wave of crowdsurfers.

In short, prepare accordingly. Kublai Khan TX are bearing down on us with clear, merciless intent, and if you’re looking for entertainment, workout, or even therapy via distortion pedal, we’ll see you in June. Now, please excuse us – we’ll be in the basement, firming up our foundations.

Joining Kublai Khan TX on tour are their contemporaries Malevolence, bring their own brand of no-nonsense metallic hardcore, blending crushing riffs, groove-heavy breakdowns and razor-sharp hooks with a distinctly British bite. Since their early DIY days, the band have risen to become one of the UK’s most respected heavy exports, praised for albums like Reign of Suffering, Self Supremacy and Malicious Intent, and for a live presence that channels a controlled riot on stage. Drawing on hardcore, thrash and classic metal, these returning favourites balance brutality with precision, delivering songs that stay lodged in your head like a pick-axe.

Rounding out the bill, Boundaries bring a relentless surge of modern metalcore, blending heartfelt, raw emotion with crushing heaviness. Known for their intensely personal lyrics and explosive live energy, the Connecticut outfit have built a reputation on turning vulnerability into power, blistering aggression into haunting melody.

Tickets on sale online and at Eventim outlets on Monday, 26 January at 11 am.
