Youngsters Jet Black Diamonds, who conquered national radio waves with their first singles “Retro Anorak” and “Še Zadnjič ” and are considered one of the most promising newcomers of the year, will present their long-awaited EP debut Večvredne Romance in Šiška.
The stylistically boundless rock’n’roll five-piece Jet Black Diamonds, after years of shaping their own musical expression drew significant attention with their first original single “Retro Anorak” last year. The song drove first their local, then the national audience crazy and became the most played song on Radio Val 202 as a Song of the Week in August.
A couple of months later, the Jet Black Diamonds dominated the Šourock student band contest and, in addition to winning, took home the awards for best singer and best drummer. They followed up their victory with a new single, “Še Zadnjič”. This one was also named Song of the Week on Val 202, so it’s not surprising that a nomination for the Golden Flute for Newcomers of the Year followed soon. Only two weeks after the awards ceremony, the boys will present their debut EP Večvredne romance, released in April, in Šiška.
