Slovenian choreographer Mala Kline and the in Vienna based Belgian dance dramaturge Guy Cools have had the past years and ongoing dialogue and exchange about their artistic practices: Dreamwork and Rewriting Distance respectively. These practices share underlying interests in how myths and images resonate within the body; how focusing on the receptive mode and training or altering one’s perception transforms the creative output and how being present and ‘presencing’ are essential to any performative practice. In this lecture performance Mala and Guy will continue their dialogue in front of an audience who is invited to witness but eventually might also want to participate.
