What is the importance of light art today, how can we explore and grasp a city through light sources, what is light pollution and what artistic explorations – these are the questions for gusts of the April Tea Party to try to answer: sculptor and artist Marko Kovačič, architect and creator of light artworks Katja Paternoster, as well as curator and producer of Lighting Guerrilla Festival Katerina Mirović. We will be discussing light art in relation to street art, speaking of light festivals around the globe and in Slovenia, whereas the artists will present their projects and considerations on the use of light. The debate will be hosted by sculptor and intermedia artist Zoran Srdić Janežič.

Organised by Gulag Institute for Contemporary Art and Cultures, Alkatraz Gallery and Kino Šiška.

Admission Free.
