In 2011, she has had chart success with the hit singles “Raggamuffin”, “Crazy Vibes” and “This World”. In 2011, Selah Sue won an European Border Breakers Award (EBBA). In January 2012 during the EBBA award ceremony she was presented with the EBBA Public Choice Award.

On 28 August 2012, her debut album was also released in the United States, where the album received positive reviews. More than 400,000 downloads were counted in one week.  The Rolling Stone Magazine named Selah Sue as one of the new faces of 2012.

On 4 March 2011, Selah Sue released her eponymous debut album. The album has peaked at number one on the Belgium Albums Chart and has also charted in the Netherlands, France and Switzerland. Besides several hit singles, such as “This World” and “Crazy Vibes”, the album also contains a duet with Cee Lo Green, called “Please”. On 10 December 2011, she won three prizes at the Flemish Music Industry Awards.

On 20 October 2012, Selah Sue played at the royal wedding in Luxembourg.  She recorded a version of “Spoonful” for an Häagen-Dazs commercial featuring Bradley Cooper. On 27 October 2014, Selah Sue released a new song, “Alone”. On 30 March 2015, Selah Sue released her second album Reason. She cowrote Belgium’s Eurovision Song Contest 2016 song, “What’s the Pressure”.

Four years have gone by since her debut album and Selah Sue might not be over her demons but she’s at least harnessed them to compose the songs of Reason, gorged with energy, light and emotion. These songs sweep you over from the first bars, coming from an artist who’s at once full of life and full of scars, who always seems to be one with her guitar. “Success hasn’t healed my wounds”, she says. “Nothing has really changed. It’s a journey, a battle that will last my entire life”.

Katja Šulc is a charismatic singer, songwriter moving between poetry and music. She studied music in Slovenia and in New York, at the New School for Jazz & Contemporary music. Until now she released two albums, ‘Mila’ (Sanje, 2008), based on poetry of Slovenian poetess Mila Kačič, and ‘Twisted Delight’ (Celinka, 2013), based on her own poetic lyrics. Katja Šulc played concerts in Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegowina, Austria, Italy, Portugal, France, Spain, USA, Turkey, Mexico and Guatemala and was nominated for MTV European Music Awards as Best Adria Act in 2013.

The draft of inspiring music collaboration between Katja and Pier was written few years ago, when Katja attended poetry workshops in New York. After returning to Slovenia with bunch of poetic sketches she met Pier and they produced their first track, ‘Twisted Delight’, showcasing their experimental approach in lyrics, rhythms and setting poems to music.

Following the sensational scream of first two single releases, ‘I Love You You Scream’ and ‘There Will Be Boys’, both accompanied by unique videos directed by Miha Knific, Katja Šulc released the album “Twisted Delight” together with the third single from the album ‘Comes Love’ featuring Mungo’s HI FI riddim Belly Ska. Rooted in hypnotic rhythms of reggae and dub, the album can be described as musically diverse, pulling from a variety of styles, including hypnotic soul, jazz, r’n’b, spoken word, evoking sensual thoughts and taking the listener on a musical journey infused with twisted delight and deep intoxicated rhythms …
