The group show is based on the results of Photon’s open call Young Contemporary Photography which displays recent works of young and emerging artists and photographers. The project therefore provides an insight into the tendencies and developments of local contemporary photography scene.
Young Contemporary Photography is an initiative that encourages, evaluates and promotes developments of young, non-yet-established, and emerging generations of artists working within the field of contemporary photography. All artists who meet the criteria of the open call are kindly invited to apply.
The selection of artists and their works will be processed by international committee: Iva Prosoli (Zagreb, Croatia), Filip Vančo (Bratislava, Slovakia) and Dejan Sluga (Ljubljana, Slovenia).
