SOUNDS OF SLOVENIA – CONCLUDING PRODUCTION OF GODIBODI FESTIVAL 2010
A group of top musicians, recognised and excellent soloists as well as members of various bands (Katalena, Jararaja, Magnifico, Kisha, Elevators, Fake Orchestra) shall present Slovenian folk tradition in modern, lively arrangements under the artistic direction of Janez Dovč.

Slovenian folk music is a memory from ancient times, carrying within it the diversity of Slovenian regions. The concert aims at emphasizing the importance of the wealth of variety, not only in cultural, but also in economic and political worlds. Welcome to join the dance. Performing will be Jani Hace – bass, Robi Pikl – guitar, Sergej Ranđelović – drums, Nino Mureškič – percussion, Petra Trobec – double bass, Primož Fleischman - sax, Luka Ipavec – trumpet, Rok Štirn – trombone, Boštjan Gombač – clarinet, whistles, singing saw, Gregor Budal – clarinet, Vasilij Centrih – violin, Janez Dovč –accordion and soloists Aphra Tesla, Eva Hren, Vesna Zornik, Rudi Bučar, Irena Preda, Mateja Starič and Katice.
