The duo with Olga Nosova (the drummer mostly known for her work with avantgardish noise-punk band Motherfathers) is one of the latest projects of the electronics veteran Alexei Borisov, and noticeably very fast-developing – their mind-boggling and abstract (though surprisingly groovy) music is already highly acclaimed among the music lovers not only in Russia, but around the world. The duo embrace elements of weird free-form spoken word psychedelia, live electronics, noise, heavy acid, electroacoustic, dub and far too many different types of acoustic torture to even bother mentioning all of them! The music is highly improvised, so naturally Borisov / Nosova is collaborating with various musicians, video-artists and poets from different countries both in live situations and in studio environment: Anton Nikkila (Finland), Dave Phillips (Switzerland), Matthieu Werchowski (France), Dora Bleu (Canada), Thomas Buckner (USA), Tom Smith (USA), Ilya Belorukov (Russia), Sergei Letov (Russia), Nikita Tsymbal (Russia) to name just a few. Borisov / Nosova band is touring extensively and in 2009 performed in Russia, Turkey, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Poland, Germany, etc.
Alexei Borisov – electronics, guitar, vocals; Olga Nosova – drums.

The duo Irena Tomažin and Marko Karlovčec represent an improvised encounter of their aesthetic systems in a careful exploration of the acoustic space as it is being filled up. From fragile unison, droning elongated notes to lyrical melodies originating in several vocal traditions as well as delirious outbreaks of sax vocal shrieking (a clip available at http://www.myspace.com/markosinai). The album That which happens is itself dripping red has recently been released in home production.

Irena Tomažin is an artist of versatile renown; a singer, dancer, actor, performer. Her latest show was Splet Okoliščin / Turn of Events, performed in cooperation with the dancer Josephine Evrard. Her best known shows include Spozaba Kaprice / Caprice (Re)lapse and Kot Kaplja Dežja V Usta Molka / As a rain drop into the mouth of silence, as well as the iT music project for vocals and dictaphones. She participated in theatre and dance projects across Europe, in Japan...
Marko Karlovčec is a musician (sax, no-input effect units, guitar), whose activity has been marked by an exploration of the legacy of free-jazz, noise, hardcore, historical avant-gardes and modern improvisation. He has cooperated and performed with musicians like Jaka Berger, Miha Blažič N'toko, Tomaž Grom, Seijiro Murayama and duo Mimesys.
