ILUSTRARIUM 2010

Ilustrarium 2010 is the first Slovenian event dedicated to exhibiting original and copied illustrations of more or less familiar Japanese cartoons and comics, the so-called anime and manga. The exhibits are amateur works of individuals who like various anime and manga characters, as well as a collection of own original works.
Ilustrarium 2010 shall take place in Kino Šiška on 28 August from 3 pm onwards. Alongside the exhibition, the event will comprise a social gathering of anime and manga fans. Available to all the visitors will be arcade dance mats, examples of manga, magazines, various figurines and even a short lecture. Those most persisten will be invited to draw with the help of an expert. Welcome the young and the old, schoolchildren and families alike.

Afternoon programme:
- An exhibition of fictional and copied anime and manga illustrations.
- Arcade dance to make it more fun.
- Examples of manga and magazines for reading.
- Anime screening (amateur music videos, opening and closing sequences).
- A minor exhibition of anime/manga collector and action figurines.
- Socializing and discussion.

Scheduled programme:
- from 6 pm to 7 pm – Anime/manga character drawing workshop
- from 7.15 pm to 8 pm – A short lecture on anime and manga
